She said the program was designed to meet the concerns of member states and was designed to meet the development needs.
In her report on the institute's activities last year, she said, based on a need assessment, IDEP now has courses for both private and public sector actors.
These include courses on digital transformation and free trade.
“A few years ago, we began to address trade negotiations and trade policy. We are increasingly employing training to launch and implement the AFCFTA,” she said.
She said it is important for the country to share experiences about what worked, and what was not working in policy and other areas.
“We have begun the ECA thinking and practice to provide a platform to learn from each other's successes and failures, and the African Development Impact Forum provides member states with a platform to discuss how to translate strategies into concrete and impactful actions.”
