2025 Africarena Lagos Summit recognizes the top startups in West Africa

Lagos – Five startups and one investor have appeared as recipients of Africarena Lagos Fintech, Mobility & Logistics Summit.

The summit, held at eco hotels and suites on Victoria Island in Lagos, Nigeria, was a visceral victory in West Africa's powerful fintech, mobility and logistics ecosystem.

The summit was held in collaboration with AWS startups Giz, Reddington, Vontech Group and Methis to showcase West African skill by creating world-class technical talents and dazzling talent.

Convened in line with the 21st AVCA Conference and VC Summit, the summit brought together global venture capitalists, industry pioneers and emerging startups for all-day events focused on pitching sessions, strategic networking and partnership opportunities.

Being a participant at the event, Mrs. Kay, Director of Communications and Director of Social Influence at Salad Africa, told African technical success stories with her outstanding storytelling skills as the Master of Ceremony of the Event.

Deepankar Rustagi, founder and CEO of OmnireTail Technology, gave an insightful keynote entitled “Narrating Fintech Journey: From Headlines to Hustle.”

Each of the 20 pitching startups demonstrated a diverse and versatile skill set that empowered them to build and expand innovative and groundbreaking startups.

When the event reached its peak at the awards ceremony, five best startups and one investor were announced as winners of the next award.

Each recipient has qualified for up to USD 25,000 on AWS Active Credits and automatically advanced to the grand finale at the African Lana Grand Summit in Cape Town, South Africa in December.
