AfSug announces four new executives

JOHANNESBURG – The African SAP User Group (AFSUG) has announced that four outstanding experts will be appointed to the board of directors.

In a statement on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, AFSUG designated the new officer as follows:

Kammy Sing (Discovery), Nthabiseng Thupana (Sanbs), Sne Dlamini (Aeci), and Tejal Somaru (EY).

AFSUG said new board members will bring them exceptional industry expertise, strategic insights and a common passion for innovation, collaboration and mentorship within the SAP ecosystem.

“These individuals bring rich leadership, strategic insights, and deep industry knowledge combined with leadership, strategic insights, and deep industry knowledge to AFSUG's mission to promote collaboration, knowledge exchange and SAP innovation across the African continent,” the statement said.

Tejal Somaru, Senior Associate Partner – SAP Practice Joint Lead Africa, EY

Somal brings women and youth inclusion in the SAP ecosystem, knowledge sharing, strategic impact on leadership, SAP expertise and unparalleled commitment.

Commenting on the appointment, Afsug CEO Amanda Gibbs said:
