JOHANNESBURG – The MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience with Clearwater Mall will welcome competitors, casual players and gaming fans to Center Court from 31 July to 2 August.
The event in Joburg West will give players of varying experience levels a place in South Africa's biggest gaming tournament.
As the country's only national mall-based gaming series, MTN SHIFT brings competitive gaming to familiar public spaces, giving more people the opportunity to participate, watch the games, and see what tournament play is like.
Clearwater's EA FC 26™ Online Qualifier will be held on July 25th, with the top four players advancing directly to the Mall Finals.
Players can also qualify through center heats.
The winner will receive a R2 500 Clearwater gift card and a place in the National Football Finals, where contestants will have a share of R50 000.
Second and third place will receive gift cards worth R1,500 and R1,000.
There are even more opportunities to play and win throughout the weekend, including Beat Saber, Brawlhalla, Tekken, Street Fighter 6, Keyboard Rebuild Race, PC Game Zone, Free Play Station, and more.
The total prize pool for the entire MTN SHIFT series is R350,000.
