JOHANNESBURG – FREYSAPHIRE has announced the end of strike action by some pilots.
“This concludes our weeks of intensive engagement under the guidance of the mediation, mediation and arbitration committee following the signing of a formal agreement between the management of the airline and solidarity today,” Flysafair said in a statement on Friday, August 1, 2025.
“Most importantly, on travelling in South Africa, this development means that FlySafair will begin to recover the full capacity of the market.”
FlySafair expects airfare stabilization in the coming weeks as all aircraft are back in service and schedules are normalized, as airlines are expecting airfare stabilization in the coming weeks as more seats become available across the network.
