Johannesburg – The Ministry of Minerals and Petroleum Resources has announced fuel price adjustments for May.

Effective from next week, Wednesday (May 7, 2025), and based on current local and international factors, fuel prices will be adjusted as follows:

Gasoline 93 (ULP & LRP): 22 cents (22.00 c/L) decrease per liter. Gasoline 95 (ULP & LRP): 22 cents (22.00 c/L) decreases per liter. Diesel (0.05% Sulfur): 42 cents (42.00 c/L) decreases per liter. Diesel (0.005% Sulfur): 41 cents (41.00 c/L) decreases per liter. Lighting Paraffin (Wholesale): 31 cents (31.00 c/L) decreases per liter. SMNRP for IP: 41 cents (41.00 c/L) decreases per liter. Maximum LPGAS Retail Price: Increases 46 cents (46.00 c/kg) per kilogram.

Fuel pricing schedules for the various zones will be published on Tuesday (May 6, 2025).
