Durban – The South African Passenger Rail Agency (PRASA) announced additional train services for the sold-out Nedbank Cup final between the Orlando Pirates and the Kaiser Chiefs at Moses Mavida Stadium in Durban on Saturday (May 10, 2025).
To facilitate traffic congestion and ensure a fun experience for fans, Plaza said it will operate a dedicated train service connecting the regional station to Moses Mabida Station.
Services are available from the following stations:
Umraj
•Kwamashu
•Cato Ridge
•Pinetown
Bridge City
•Crossmoor
From Durban Station, fans will connect with Moses Mabida Station.
Durban Station to Moses Mabida:
Train shuttle service from Durban Station to Moses Mavidda Station is available every 15 minutes from 11:30am to 16:00, and will resume from Moses Mavidda Station to Durban Station from 5:30pm to 8:00pm
Return ticket prices for all hallways on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 are R20.
Park & ​​Ride Facility:
For spectators who want to park at the station and take the train, there is a park and ride to Moses Mabida station between Umraj, Kwa Munyandumur and Durban stations.
Parks and ride services are included in the train ticket price.
Audiences are advised to arrive early to purchase return train tickets at the station and follow the train schedule to ensure timely arrival and departure from Moses Mavidas Stadium.
